Denim
Denim
'Denim' comes from the French 'serge de Nimes "(settlements from Nimes, a city in the south of France). Later they spoke of "de Nimes", which soon became 'denim'. This very strong, herringbone cotton fabric was first produced for the herdsmen of the Camargue. Nowadays one uses this fabric for jeans trousers. Denim is very strong and has a high tear and abrasion resistance. It is skin-friendly and has good moisture absorption. Denim can be worn both in summer and in the winter. Really indigo denim gives color every wash off.
